This cache is all about the girls… Located in the Pittsfield State Forest, this cache is less than .5 mile from the Balance Rock parking area on the loop trail. It is was a canister with a pink top and a pink logbook, but now is a camo'd lock & lock with geopile camo on top with a High School Musical logbook. All of the contents are goodies for the wonderful girls in your life.
Do you have a little girl that goes with you on all of your caches to find the hidden treasures in the old rusty ammo boxes? Perhaps an old Happy Meal toy or a foreign coin or two? Are you searching for a cache that she can really look forward to?
This cache isn’t child’s play--it’s the real deal. But the prizes are the wonderfully feminine contents that will make any little girl’s eyes light up with joy. The original cache contents:
10 glitter glue pens
6 flower key chains
4 scented body sprays
2 bracelets
2 packs of flower tissues
1 ring
1 blue nail clipper
1 lip-gloss compact
The new container contains lot's of girls hair accessories that I bought on sale at one of those girly stores.
Come and enjoy the area, and perhaps head over to the ‘One for the Boys’ cache after you’ve got something for the little ladies in your life.
If you are driving into the forest, park at the head of the Balance Rock trail and work your way in. Look for the gigantic mossy rock on your left as you head into the pine forest. Whatever you do, enjoy the area as it has a lot to offer
The old pink cache containers clue was "Cache is on the backside of a rock wall less than 20 feet from the trail. Look for a large tree on the front of the wall." I haven't recovered it as I didn't find it when I went to replace it. If you find it, please remove it.
