Geocache Description:

This cache is at the Avenal Gliderport. I noticed that there are very few caches in Avenal, so I thought I would place a few.

The gliderport was once the town airport, but hard times forced the city council to contract management out to the glider club, which has taken over the airport. The glider club offers rides and instruction. Their website is at (visit link) The cache is an old pink Huggies babywipes container.
