Geocache Description:

This cache is located in John F Kennedy Park. The park hours are 0700-2000 hours. They do close the gates. This is a very stickery place; wear long pants, it really will help. The cache location has some steep terrain, please watch your step. The first half of this cache in on paved road. The second half is not. Parking available.

A Seaway, the Napa River, has many sights. This is an old one, from many years ago. Kaiser Steel, an old name but a lost business. Then Napa Pipe was its name, then too it dies away. Now you have a ghost town of steel, but the Ships sail on, there was a Sand/Gravel barge unloading during my stroll. In the distance you can see the fabrication building, and some of the Crane riggings. There use to be pipe everywhere in the yards beyond the building. But now, it is barren and closed. On the beach across the Estuary, there lies an old wooden ship, a brother of the now steel vessels that sail these waters.

To find this cache, you will be following a series of tins that have the coordinates to the next stage. Please replace all containers exactly as found. And most of all make sure the final is covered and well hidden from view. Enjoy the hunt! MR
