DON'T PANIC: #2 - Zaphod's Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

KKTH3: I wish I could have kept this one going, but it seems the landscape has fallen far away from what this place used to be. Between the continued camo issues and the new local resident, we sadly have to archive one of our favorite caches we ever placed. I actually discovered the problem on my own yesterday while inspecting several of our caches. At that time no one had posted about the new resident yet so it was a complete shock to me that a transient had moved in practically on top of one of our favorite caches. I couldnt even get to the cache that day as I was chased off by the guy. Luckily when I went back he did not seem to be there. The delay did allow a couple more cachers to find it though - hopefully they could still appreciate it. It is with a heavy heart that we archive Zaphod's Cache. Thank you to all of those that have enjoyed this cache.

Geocache Description:

The second in a series of caches dedicated to Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series.

Zaphod Beeblebrox, adventurer, ex-hippie, good-timer, (crook? quite possibly), manic self-publicist, terribly bad at personal relationships, often thought to be completely out to lunch.
-- Douglas Adams from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

And out to lunch you shall go for this cache, by the Tate Foundation Picnic tables along the North Platte River Parkway. This is a great spot to take your bag lunch if you are a downtown worker and just enjoy the nature along the parkway. Please try to keep the cache watertight when closing it back up.
