An ammo box hidden on the top of a small knob, by Anderson Ranch Dam in Pine, Idaho.
My friend Louis started a camp-out 21 years ago this last weekend. It is called "Louie's Luau". It is a time for old and new friend to gather at Anderson Ranch Dam in Pine, Idaho to play in the water and float the river.
I was introduced to geocaching last year at this event by a new friend I had met. And this year I had her help with placing a cache in celebration of the Luau. Since this is a camping trip we decided a travel bug campground was in order.
This is a nice little site. You can camp up near it too, if you want. This is a TB site so please be courteous to other geocachers. You may also leave something small if you would like.
You can reach it several ways, by foot, by car, by bike or by fourwheeler. HOWEVER!!!!! This will not be excessable during the winter!!!!
One quick hint on how to get going in the right direction. If you have gotten to the Pine bridge you have gone too far. The road is on the right before the bridge, but not the back road along side the river.
