Swift Running Water Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

Sapience Trek: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

The word "Tonawanda" comes from the Iroquois Indians, meaning "swift running waters". This 4-stage multi-cache will take you along the banks of the mighty Niagara River, which forms the border of the City of Tonawanda on the North side.

All parts have nearby parking lots, so you may opt to drive to each spot, bring along your bikes, or walk the whole way. Start to finish is about one mile. The first three parts are micros, hidden in various spots throughout Niawanda Park. The final is a small 3"x6" rectangular Rubbermaid container. It may fit smaller travel bugs. There's no need to go in the water at any time.

The park closes at 10PM. Leashed dogs are only allowed from 6AM-9AM from May 1-September 31, but any time during October to April.
