Geocache Description:

A nice stroll on marked footpaths between Newton Blossomville and Cold Brayfield could get muddy in places.

There are many types of Tree Frog around the world ie. Red -Eyed ,Green , Whites and Pacific to name a few. However not so many people have heard of the Red Banded Tree Frog from the UK. They have been virtually extinct for hundreds of years in the UK thanks mainly to the Normans who considered them a delicacy after they invaded our shores. However pockets survived here and there and they are now making a remarkable comeback, thanks many think to our increasingly mild winters. One has recently been spotted on the banks of The Great Ouse between Cold Brayfield and Newton Blossomville. This cache has been placed as a tribute to that frog.

You can park at either end of the clue search near to the coordinates either in Newton Blossomville near the little green outside the school or at the Cold Brayfield end I would suggest you park a little up the road on the wide pavement next to The Lodge. Traffic can be pretty fast through Cold Brayfield so take care.

I have had to replace the cache as the old container kept leaking. It was a frog shaped container up a tree ,it is now just a clip close container. The new container wouldnt fit into the old hidey hole without standing out like a sore thumb. So i have had to relocate it slightly and is now six paces closer to river from the coordinates given.

Cache is quite small and will only hold a few small swaps
