How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

You can either ride a horse into the area or hike. The horse trail from the SunRiver stables is right along this path.
You can also get there by floating the river. It is a gorgeous place to stop.

You can rent a rubber raft or canoe at the SunRiver rentals at the River House location on the Deshutes near the airport.

Please take caution when doing this cache as it is beautiful but you are in natures surroundings.

If you float the river your GPS will give you plenty of time to navigate and pull over to the bank as you come around a bend in the river. You will see the location from the river.
The cache is up hill from the rivers edge.

You will be looking for a brown container in a baggy which is under bark and a log at that area.
Whcih if it is under the weather would you please help it out---THANK YOU!
There will be plenty of time in this secluded area to sit down and add your names to the geocache log book and plenty of time to enjoy stamping in the log book that is contained there for the letterbox. Our rabbit stamp is enclosed in this letterbox/cache for using in your stamp journal. Find our letterbox listing at: www.atlasquest.com

When you find this please rehide very well and brush your tracks. Try to keep the paperwork dry if the weather gets bad. It snows a lot here some years.

Please do not leave food here or leave any trash.
Thanks for being so careful in our forest.
