Once in the area, this should be an easy find.
Except for a couple way down the drainage there are no starter castles yet, but just you wait. From the fresh survey evidence a couple of years ago, to the wells being dug, the new right-of-way fences (with appropriate posting), and the tops being taken off of the hills they belong to, they are coming. Castles from which the big people can look down on the little people, Bogus Basin Road is going to be a little different in a few years. The idea for this cache was inspired from the disappointing discovery a couple of weeks ago that historic access to the north flank of Shaw Mountain has effectively been gated off and posted. One can only guess why. Lots ‘O Money? Am I surprised? nah. Private land really is private. Disappointed and resigned? yep. Was Coles right? I'd argue yes, he was. Oh well. The view from this cache is not too bad and unless something happens to its access, we little people shall soon be able to look down at the big people. Perhaps I should have “themed” the contents in this cache but currently they are normal items and may look familiar as they mostly come from other caches in the area and include: a couple of Greek pins and a festival token, a mini-Rubiks cube, a golf tee, car wash token, Denver and UPPR keyrings, a Where’s George? Dollar (L61451787I), a pewter globe, a package of assorted car fuses and a soapbox (which I have now stepped down from) all contained in a small Thermos jug with a painted top. Have fun and enjoy the view.
