Hi Guys,

I need to remove the listing for my geocache called "west hook mtn." in Nyack, NY. we are having trouble with parking, and the neighbors are becoming hostile to hikers.

I disabled the listing today, but I want to actually remove the listing, so that noone can see the coordinates, the directions, or my email address. I mean, these neighbors are mad!

Please let me know how I can remove the listing.

Geocache Description:

From Christian Herald Rd. in Valley Cottage, drive up Old Stone Rd. (opp. Storms Rd.). This is a private rd., but it is ok to use it to get to the Town park. Please be quiet, so not to disturb the residents. DO NOT turn right at first intersection; continue straight. After you pass the driveway to #1 Old St. Rd. (on left), take the next old lane on left. (This is a 3-way intersection. Take sharpest left.) Park near a stand of evergreen trees, by a yellow chain. This is the Town park.

West Hook Mountain is a beautiful place, but much less famous than Hook Mountain (across 9W). There are spectacular views of Nyack, the Hudson River, and the Tappan Zee Bridge. Signal fires were lit here during the Revolution, to warn of the approach of British ships. Recently, the Town of Clarkstown has protected this ridge as a park. We hope that someday soon, the Long Path will leave its current route along the shoulder of 9W, and return to the top of this beautiful ridge.
