Die Gesamtstrecke ist ca. 3,8 km lang. Alle Wege sind bei jeder Witterung begeh- und befahrbar. Nach Stage 2 sind Kraftfahrzeuge nicht mehr zugelassen.
Für die Aufgaben gilt:
1. Alle Koordinaten wurden bei gutem Wetter mit einer Abweichung von 6m mit einem Garmin etrex Summit bestimmt.
2. Alle N-Koordinaten beginnen mit 50°, alle E-Koordinaten mit 08°.
3. Errechnete Werte sind jeweils Tausendstel Minuten und gemäß Vorgabe zu den Werten der Vorgängerstation zu addieren oder zu substrahieren. (Beispiel: alter Wert sei 50° 01.999, der errechnete Wert sei X = 102, dann ist N + X gleich 50° 02.101)
4. Die X- und Y-Werte sind an jeder Station neu zu berechnen. Auch andere Hilfswerte sind jeweils nur für eine Aufgabe gültig. 5. Der Cache selbst ist eine kleine rechteckige transparente Click-Box.
Stage 1: N 50° 3.982 E 08° 34.309
Du befindest dich an einer Stelle, an der sich die Wege dreier (!) Verkehrsmittel kreuzen. Im Nordosten der Kreuzung steht auf einem Gebäude eine Angabe, an welchem Streckenkilometer man sich hier befindet. Die ersten vier Ziffern seien ABCD, dann ist X = ACD - 11. Die vier Teile, die zur Verkehrsregelung dienen, sind nummeriert. Benötigt werden die Nummer der Teile in Richtung NW = A , NO = B, SO = C und SW = D. Dann ist Y = CBA. Tipp: Von Süden her sind die benötigten Informationen besser zu erkennen.
Stage 2: N (Stage 1) – X; E (Stage 1) – Y
Du bist neben einer Stelle, die für eines der Verkehrsmittel, deren Wege sich eben kreuzten, einen Gefahrenpunkt darstellt. Die deshalb vorgeschriebene Höchstgeschwindigkeit zum Durchfahren des Gefahrenpunktes sei A. Dann ist X = 3*A - 2. Hier steht ein Hinweisschild mit dem Namen des Weges, der von hier in westliche Richtung führt. Darüber ist eine Flurnummer angebracht. Die Ziffern der Nummer seien ABC, dann ist Y = ABC/2 - 9.
Stage 3: N (Stage 2) – X; E (Stage 2) – Y
Du stehst vor einem Geburtstagsgeschenk. Wie alt wäre das Geburtstagskind geworden? Die Anzahl der Jahre seien A. Dann ist X = A + 4. Dem Alter des Jubilars entsprechend ist das Geburtstagsgeschenk recht groß. Wie hoch ist es? Diese Zahl sei B. Dann ist Y = A/10 * B - 18.
Finale: N (Stage 3) + X; E (Stage 3) – Y
Fast geschafft! Du stehst vor einem Gegenstand, das Dir den Weg zur neuen S-Bahn Station "Gateway Gardens" zeigt. Von hier aus solltest du 65 Schritte in Richtung OOS (120°) und dann 12 Schritte in Richtung SSW (185°) gehen. Suche den mächtigsten Baum in diesem Bereich!
Übrigens bist du hier in der Nähe eines der schönsten Gebäude seiner Art und Funktion. Ein wahres Schmuckstück. Schade, dass man es nur von außen betrachten kann. Wenn du dem ersten Weg ca. 50m östlich des Caches in nordostwärtiger Richtung folgst („Tunnelweg“), gelangst du problemlos wieder zum Ausgangspunkt zurück.

Some notes in regard to the riddles:
1. All coordinates have been taken under fine weather conditions with a maximum deviance of 6m using a Garmin etrex Summit.
2. All N-coordinates start with 50°, all E-coordinates start with 08°.
3. Calculated numbers are in thousandths of minutes and to be added or substracted to /from the previous values according to the specifications. (Example: given value is N 50° 01.999, the calculated value of X = 102, then N + X equals N 50° 02.101)
4. The values of X and Y must be calculated anew for each stage. All other values are only valid for one riddle, too.
5. The cache is stashed in a small rectangular transparent click box.

You are at a crossing of three (!) different means of transportation . To the North-East of the crossing is a small building bearing four digits that indicate in km at what point of the route the building is situated at you are. The first four digits are ABCD, then X = ACD - 11. The four parts used for traffic control can be identified by numbers. You need the numbers for the parts in NW = A, in NE = B, in SE = C, and the part in SW = D. Then Y = CBA. Hint: The necessary information is easier to find from the South.

You are at a place next to a dangerous spot for one of the transportation means whose paths crossed at stage 1. The speed limit is A. Then X = 3*A - 2. Here you also see a sign post with the name of the path leading to the West. Above there is a number. The digits are ABC. Then Y = ABC/2 - 9.
Stage 3: N (Stage 2) – X; E (Stage 2) – Y
Amazing, but you are actually facing a birthday present. How old would the honoured one have been when the gift was given? The celebrated age is A. Then X = A + 4. As befits the age of the honoured person, the gift was rather big. What height can be read at a information panel in m? This number is B. Then Y = A/10 * B - 18.

Nearly finished! You are facing an object that shows you the way to "Gateway Gardens". Go 65 steps in direction EES (120°) and 12 steps to SSW (185°). Look for the biggest tree in this area!
By the way, you are near a building belonging to the finest of its kind and function. A real juwel. Unfortunately it can only be viewed from the outside. Following the first path to the left approx. 50m after the cache in direction North-East („Tunnelweg“) you will easily find your way back to where you started.
