Merrill Misfits: This one had a good run, but with all the recent stories about the bomb scares and the fact that this is an ammo box at a rest area, we decided to close the hotel.

We'll place the bugs left in it as quickly as we can.

Geocache Description:

Please, if you take a TB, leave a TB. Site is a Northbound rest area off of US-127, but easy turn-around using exits at Polk Rd (Mile 135) and Alma Business 127 (Mile 139). Rest area is between Mile 137 & 138.

This Travel Bug Hotel & More is a cache placed in honor of our 100th find and our trip to Yellowstone National Park. We found a lot of caches similar to this on our trip and wanted to start something like it around here where you can get off the road, find it, and get back on the road without too much difficulty.
Cache is in a camoflaged ammo box near the dog run, so watch your step! If you bring Fido with you, he'll be good cover! Cache is within 250 feet of the parking lot. We are starting this cache with 6 of the Travel Bugs that we picked up on our travels to & from Yellowstone and 2 Where's George Travel Bills, along with the normal cache goodies (see pictures).
