Team B Squared: Archiving this one to open up this spot for a more tricky micro (rather than the boring old film cannister we had out here).

Geocache Description:

THIS CACHE IS SCHEDULED TO BE ARCHIVED BY DECEMBER 28, 2005

Cache is a 35mm film cannister. Contents of the cache, are two small pencils and a logbook. Although there are pencils here, we strongly encourage you to bring your own pen. There is no room for trade items.
We saw this spot while downtown recently, and thought this would be a unique spot to place our first cache. There is a plaque very near the cache which commemorates the founding of the City of Mt. Pleasant. Please use caution while searching for this cache, as this is a busy area. There is parking within 20 feet of the cache on the street and there is a free public lot just behind the cache.

This cache will be a lot more difficult to find with snow on the ground.

An interesting side note to this cache. In March 2004, the 2 story building across the street burned down in a major fire. The cleanup to this fire was so major that Broadway was closed for approximately 2 weeks and Franklin was closed all summer. The first three pics show the building 2 days after the fire, this is a neat comparison to what is now there. The old building was completely torn down, and the building you see now was erected in less than a year. Hope you enjoy!
