Geocache Description:

I took the kids along with me to hide the cache and they kept asking are we there yet?

Ok, I will admit it I have issues with this section of Northwest Pennsylvania. The parking lot is not maintained on a regular basis, heavy snow may present a problem. Follow the service road (closed to motorized vehicles) and walk until you reach the railroad tracks, turn right (or south) and walk about 100 feet or so south (past the bridge) and begin looking to your left (or east) there will be a trail that will lead you to the cache site. The cache is hidden on the right (or south) side of the trail. The cache is a larger ammo can with 2 hasps to secure the lid (for those who are concerned it holds 4 gallons of liquid - that's large for me; but I have found larger). I did my best to hide the cache away from thorns and other unpleasant plant life. The bugs were the biggest problem we encountered so plan accordingly. Overall expect a 2.5 mile hike (round trip) on fairly flat and level ground, no surprises or sneaky tricks, just a plain cache. The cache is hidden in PA SGL #109, be sure to follow all rules and regulations link to REGS and be careful around hunting season.
