No Wimps!

If you are up to tackling a hike up a very steep mountain, not reachable by any form of locomotion save foot, helicopter and perhaps pack mule, you will be rewarded with an unbelievable view of the surrounding valley. We rated it as a 4.5 because there is some tougher terrain somewhere---we think.

You won’t see any logs here describing how “My 8-year old daughter made it up to the top, and so can you.” Nor are you going to see, “I smoke 3 packs of cigarettes a day and have emphysema, and still made it to the top!” And if you make it to the top, you still have to find and retrieve the cache.
We suspect that not many people will be up to the challenge, and that is fine. There are plenty of lesser caches in the area. For those cachers intrepid enough (or insane enough) to attempt this cache, read on.

Caution: On this one, leave the kids and dogs at home. Take good hiking shoes and whatever else you feel you need given the terrain. A walking stick might be useful and if you make it to the top, binoculars are nice to have with you. As always, in the warm months, take plenty of water and watch out for Mr. Snake.

If you really think you’re carrying the sand, do it at night under a full moon. The view is awesome! 10,000 coyotes can’t be wrong and you’ll likely meet them.
