Due to the local councils "tidy Up" my original "container" and its hiding place have vanished. As I didn't want to close the cache I've had to change it to a nano cache, (SORRY)
This cache is loosely based on gardening, plants, vegetables and flowers etc. It’s set around the allotments in the village where I live and specifically near mine.
I’ve been to 3 events, North East Meet, Edinburgh CITO Event and recently the Durham Meet. I’ve met quite a few cachers at these events, but I’ve been caching now for just over a year, June 2004 and have only met 3 or 4 cachers out in the Field so to speak.
SOW I’ve decided to SET this cache and try and MEAT a few more out in the FIELD, well my garden anyway! I’m usually on my allotment a few SCATTERED evenings during the week and at least half a DAISY at the weekend. This is if I’m not busy POTTERING about with the family or out CACHING.
It also depends on the time of year, the weather and what’s SPROUTing, in the garden.
At the moment I’ve BEAN spending at least 2 hours every evening watering, it takes me this long because my hose has a LEEK. You’ll be aMAIZEd how CORNy it’s going to BEE and you’ll really be PEAd off with VEGGY jokes. Be BERRY careful when removing the cache container to LOG your find, it’s a very busy place and there’s BARLEY a quite moment to search.
Remember to LEAF it well hidden for the next person who comes STALKing along. If you SEED me over the low wall working away, DIGGING, WEEDing or just leaning on my RAKE come over and say halHOE. Don’t be shy, I’ll be GLADoli to SEED you and you may be lucky and get a CABBAGE or CAULI for your tea.
