Easy walk through a pine forest to some granite boulders
Follow the N2 from Cape Town and turn off at Grabouw. Drive through town and turn onto the R321 to Villiersdorp. After approx. 11 km, turn left into the Hottentots Holland Nature Reserve.
Entry is free, if using a Wildcard, else R24 per adult, R12 per child payable at the gate - no dogs allowed.
Follow the dirt road for approx. 1.5 km and park at the fenced-in parking area on your right at S34° 04.234 / E19° 02.947.
Look for the start of the Palmiet hiking trail and follow the foot path for approximately 300m. Turn right onto jeep track which leads into the pine forest. Follow this track for about 380m until it makes a sharp turn to the right. You should see some huge granite boulders about 40m in front of you.
The cache is a small clear container with a red lid. It contains a notebook, pen, soap, spider and gemstore.
