Eagle's ledge Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
The cache is on the top of Eagle's ledge. Terrain from the east is tough (very steep) from the west hilly.
This cache should be easy to find. It is located in between 2 deadfall tree trunks within 5 feet of an 18 in. spruce tree on the top edge of the ledge. It is in an orange ammo box. It is not easy to get to. This is pretty much a bush wack and should not be undertaken by a novice. Do some homework on a topographical map before you go out. Be aware that any roads are probably maintained to some extent by people having camps "nearby". This would be a great fall cache. Lots of deer flies in summer. Extra long walk in winter when most roads are impassable due to snow and cache is covered. The cache contains a log and pencil, survival techniques pamphlet, 2 punch baloons,4 AA bateries, 6" Ryder ruler,Ruffed Grouse Society patch,Fat Angle pin, Box of fish hooks, large # safety pin, beverage key, small carabiner, dental floss, matches and a Smith no fog cloth.
