Geocache Description:

This is an easy park & grab geocache, but be advised the cache is hidden in an area that is almost always under observation from railroad workers and other assorted muggles. Important!!! The cache is not located anywhere near the tracks. If you find yourself wanting to cross fences or looking at the railroad tracks stop, look at the clue and continue on. The coordinates have been changed slightly to keep people from being lured toward the tracks.

The cache is located on the grounds of the Museum of West Louisiana. The name of the cache was derived from the Eagles tune "Midnight Flyer." Because of the heavy railroad traffic in this yard, you will likely hear part of the refrain from the song if you stay long enough: WHoooooo Whooa Whooo Midnight Flyer, engineer won't ya let your whistle blow! The meusum is open Tuesday through Friday in the afternoon, This is a great place to bring the kids and learn about the Leesville area. The cache is a small cookie tin. The first to find prize is a combination web cam/digital camera with carrying case. The software and paperwork are missing, but I'm sure you can download the drivers off the internet easily. The original contents include: pen & pencil set pocket tool Coleman tie down straps Cub Scout light Miniature Christmas ornament
