An easy walk down a shaded country road, or a drive-by but NOT a through road. A micro but not a film canister. Log book only. All season.
If you are on your way to Austin's Nibbly Bits, you'll probablly call this a drive by. But if you don't stop at our cache you'll miss one of the nicest spots around. If you are driving make sure you drive in from Century Farm Rd, accessible from 7A or from Ballyduff Rd, or for a better drive, South from Yelverton, to the T, then east down Bunker Hill which is where we usually park. It's just over 1 km in and back from here and the dogs do love the walk from this Bunker Hill location.
North side of the road is Pigeon River Conservation Area (entrance a little further on) but the south side is private so please stay on the north side.
This end of the road is open year round but it is risky driving it in the winter as you can't hear (and avoid) the snowmobilers who are always polite once they see you.
