CoyChev's Bed & Breakfast Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Team CoyChev: The snow has finally melted, so we took this opportunity to go check on this cache. We're sorry to have to report that it has been muggled and the cache box was almost ripped off of its hiding place, so we're archiving it. It would be futile to replace it once it has been found and destroyed. We're very unhappy that so many TB's have now gone missing and can only hope that they're found by a cacher and returned to another cache.

The cache container has been removed and the site cleaned up of any litter that we found; the litter wasn't part of the cache or its contents.

Regards,
Gary & Donna
Team CoyChev

Geocache Description:

A comfortable Travel Bug Bed and breakfast with all the city amenities. On city property WITH permission! Please help move the TB's found at this location toward their desired destinations.

The CoyChev Travel Bug Bed & Breakfast is located on the same lot as the Roseville DPW. They take great care of the landscaping, not only around this land but all of the city-owned property. The DPW has an area where local residents take their recyclable waste products for disposal.

Behind the DPW offices, the DPW has it's own nursery, where they grow trees to plant in our parks and along our city streets. Roseville has been named "Tree City U.S.A." for 14 consecutive years and has received the Tree City Growth Award for 4 years. In order to maintain and continue this honor, the City, through the Department of Public Works, is committed to saving, maintaining, and planting as many trees as possible. The Department of Public Works is in charge of managing the City's "Urban Forest", and our Forestry Crew trims trees daily on a year-round basis. For the most part, the trees in front of residential properties between the sidewalk and curb (right-of-way) make up this "Urban Forest". Roseville has over 10,000 trees in this "Urban Forest".

Last year, the Department of Public Works Forestry Crew trimmed approximately 1,000 trees on residential streets. Also, over 50 new street trees were planted. THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS WILL PROVIDE AND PLANT AN APPROPRIATE STREET TREE TO BE PLANTED IN THE "RIGHT-OF-WAY", FOR INTERESTED RESIDENTS, FOR A $75.00 FEE. Call the D.P.W. for more information concerning our Fall Street Tree Planting Program.
