Hike the Historic Brule St Croix Portage Trail, a portion of the North Country National Scenic Trail to the vicinity of this cache. Some brush off trail. Hilly
The stash is in a peanut butter jar. Contains an assortment of goodies including a log book and pen for recording your visit. Take something, leave something. The nearby trail is a historic portage between the St. Croix and Bois Brule Rivers, There is a Brule River State Forest picnic area parking lot near the start of the trail. Various users of the trail are memorialized by plaques on rocks along the trail. Henry Schoolcraft is one of my favorite explorers. Enjoy the views.
