Even though we've had a cabin on Anderson Island for several years
now, I've still never played the golf course there. Just recently,
we discovered that there is a nearby "practice" fairway and putting
green that apparently few people know about, since we've never seen
anyone on or around it. So naturally, it seemed the perfect place
for a cache!
Par for this cache is five (5) minutes from car to cache. Birdie
is three (3) and eagle is two (2) minutes. Hole in one? Duh! It's
only about 170 ft or so from the road to the cache so there
probably won't be too many double bogey's. One minute penalty
stroke for use of the hint.
The property is owned by the Riviera Homeowner's Association, which
we are members of. You will be our guests for the brief time it
takes you to find the cache. It was placed with permission.
For safety reasons, please make sure that
you are cautious of golfers using this area. It would be best to
delay doing this cache in the unlikely event that you arrive and
find someone already there.
