MainePublisher: All geocache placements must have a responsive owner. The cache owner must be able to respond to issues that come up and to submit an "owner maintenance" log to remove the "needs maintenance" icon.

In this case, Groundspeak has sent an email to the cache owner with no response. The cache owner did not respond to any of the cachers hoping to find the cache and did not respond to the reviewer note so the cache is now archived.

The cache location is now open for any Geocacher to place a new cache, including the original cache owner.

Geocache Description:

Welcome to Horseshoe Pond. This cache is located along the banks of the Horseshoe Pond, off Commercial Street in Concord, NH. The trail is part of the New Hampshire Heritage Trail, which is part of an evolving network of trails that runs from the Massachusetts border to the Canadian border, a path that will be over two hundred miles long.

The Horseshoe Pond is a popular spot for bird watchers, as it is home to a variety of water fowl and other winged creatures. Turtles have also been spotted along the banks and the trail in the spring as they seek out places to bury their eggs. Visit www.nhtrails.org for additional segments of the New Hampshire Heritage Trail.This is a MICRO cache, with only a log sheet inside a plastic film canister. You will need to bring your own pen or pencil to complete your log entry. The trail can be busy during the work week as there are numerous business establishments in the area. It is a popular walking path for employees on their breaks, therefore be on the lookout for muggles. Please be sure the cache is placed securely in its hiding place so it will not roll down the bank.
