Maitland Park is a Milwaukee County Park. I grew up in this
general neighborhood and this was only a grassy field back then as
it is in the crash zone for the Milwaukee Airport. The improvements
over the past several years have been welcomed by the neighbors. A
paved walking trail, benches and childen's playground area - all
within view of I-94 and the airplanes overhead. Sorry, no restrooms
or water bubbler (fountain for our out of town visitors) however
the Golden Arches restaurant is not that far away if you need those
amenities.
Due to the high muggle use of this park, please be watchful.
This park does not have a parking lot. Street parking is
available along S 13th Street or near a small entrance off S Ramsey
Ave. (If you park on Ramsey, the cache will be very close.)
January 09 - Ramsey is under construction so there are all no
parking signs along it - you may have to come from S 13th St

Hours are sunrise until 10 PM. Please, no after hours geocaching
as this is a well traveled street across from many houses so you
are sure to get noticed.
This is micro cache inside a natural camo job. The micro
container is attached with VELCRO so it is not necessary to
totally remove the outer container from it's PERCH, PLEASE
do not leave ANYTHING other than your signature on the log .. the
container will not close properly if you do. Thank you for honoring

Dogs are allowed in this park, on a leash.
