Welcome to this restful location. Pond View Park was acquired in
1997 when the White Oaks senior housing complex which borders the
entrance to the park was developed.
Enter off S 35th Street from the White Oaks entrace to find
designated parking for Pond View in the back (parking coordinates
are N 42° 58.115 W 087° 57.379). This park site features two
retention ponds with related wetland plants. A paved walking loop
(added in 2000) will allow you to explore the park and is popular
with residents seeking a relaxing end of their busy day. In 2001,
interpretive signage was added to help identify the unique wetland
plant life and features. The park sign was added in 2003 as was the
gazebo.
This should be handicapped accessible however the slope of the
park entrance might be tricky and you will need to be able to reach
to retrieve.
This is a nature area, no playground equipment, no restrooms or
water source here.

SNOW UPDATE 12-15-05 - The parking lot is plowed to this park.
The trail is not so depending the amount of snow on the ground, the
terrain might need to be increased accordingly. The cache container
can still be found with the snow.
If you are allergic to wasp stings, please hunt carefully as
there have been reports of wasps in the area.
