Geocache Description:

The cache is located a short walk from the plaque along a promonade and footpaths.

This is our first cache,so we have placed it in one of our favorite places. The coords given are for a plaque on which you will find the rest of the coords.It's an easy stroll, but the cache can't be found by crossing the Marsh.

If you go to "Far End" there is a footpath between the houses.

The coordinates for the cache are

N53 17 .2** W003 04 .6**

To complete the coordinates :

N= The years Sir Wilfred lived and subtract 16
W= How many years did John Wesley sail to and from here and subtract 3

This place was a busy fishing village until the early 60's.It was also a fashionable bathing resort for the wealthy and famous in the 18th century. The wife of George IV and Lady Hamiliton were visitors to the resort.It is now more famous for it's award winning ice-cream, restaurants and pubs. Cache contains usual goodies,TB and a FTF Certificate. There is also a camera for you to record your visit.Enjoy the views and soak up the History.
