The cache is hidden on one of the gun sites that was built as a
land defence for the naval base in Horten during the political
turbulent time before Norway ended the union with Sweden. The
artillery was under plain Norwegian command, and not under the
Norwegian-Swedish king like the rest of the military forces. For

History
The area is popular for recreational hiking, nice bike-trip.
Park at : N 59 26.054 E 10 26.627 and walk (or ride a bike) into
the bushes, keep left just after entering the woods.
You could also park at the public school. Find the forest road by
the ski-jumping “arena”.
