Lady's Cache Traditional Cache
Girl of the Limberlost: This was my first cache. I moved it, replaced it, and loaded it up with girl goodies on a regular basis. Just not a good spot anymore, and perhaps a bit too close to the edge..... Will consider a Lady's Cache II perhaps elsewhere in the park.

The cache lies along the beautiful glacier-fed Matanuska River that winds its way through the outlying Palmer Area. The cache is a green ammo box.
Lady's Cache is situated amongst the cottonwood giants that occupy a popular Palmer riverside area. During the summer months you can drive (slowly) keeping left until you reach the very back parking lot. During the winter, cross-country skiing or snowshowing will fit the bill. Either way, enter at the trailhead and walk along the beaten path. You will not need to leave the trail until you are just upon the cache.
This cache is my first hide. It went missing in 2007 and I have replaced the cache and moved it a short distance from the last location which was, literally, destroyed. If you look closely at the cache area, you will easily locate the cache. Please replace it as you found it.
Please exchange goods of equal value and keep in mind this is a lady's cache. Bring something for a lady and pick up the same. The new cache contains a FTF button, rhinestone choker, fancy emory board, a sweet fairy box, Minnie mouse pen, grow-a-prince, AK scrapbook stickers, butterfly stamp AK magnet clip, Fried Green Tomatoes DVD, AK mini notes, forget-me-not key chain, and a 50’s postcard.
