This cache is located off of a primitive dirt road. You can drive up as far as you dare and then hike the rest of the way, or take a high clearance vehicle during the summer.
This cache is located on the Rocky Ridge part of which is owned by our family. This ridge was once part of an old freight road for teams of wagons traveling from Utah up to Salmon, Idaho. At different parts of the ridge you can still find remnants of the old roads.
The primitive road that leads up to the cache is a private road. It was built by my dad and others in the family long before I was born. He generally allows access on these roads to sportsmen. He helped me to hide this cache and is fine with people seeking the cache. Just be respectful of the property (please do not smoke up there - some years it gets pretty dry).
The original contents of the cache contained a bunch of parade glove samples that were remnants of a modern day "freight" transaction.
