Artist Chuck Greening enlivened the childhood of many a Wallingford kid. Two of his works are on display in Wallingford. The Sundial on the hilltop in Gasworks Park is one of his best and has already been involved two geocaches. (It might be helpful to review the listings for Gasworks Scrabble and Son of Gasworks Scrabble geocaches.) This puzzle cache involves the other Greening outdoor sculpture in my neighborhood, The Meridian Archway.
Hint: “Joy to the fishes in the deep blue sea”,
will help you identify the two objects you must find in the park.
Look for object-one after you walk south through the Archway at the northwest corner of the park.
Just before you begin to go up the ramp you will find a small brass object.
Name the object with 7 letters.
Look for object-two Carl in the children’s playground.
Identify the object with the first name of its original creator, 10 letters.
Take the first 3 letters of each name and store them as:
abc for object-one
def for object-two
Next use the instructions below to determine counting numbers 0-9
for letters abc and def and store them in ABC and DEF.
