Davis Shopping Spree Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Krypton: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

Here is your chance to tour around Davis and visit some different shopping areas. In each area there is a micro cache, that in turn will hopefully lead you to a Camoed Ammo Can, located in another of Davis’s secret little parks!

This is a four part multicache! You will be looking for three camoed micro caches located in three different small shpping centers. Even though camoed, they can be seen without having to move anything … if you are standing or kneeling, etc. in the right spot. Each micro contains clues that you will have to decipher to give you the coordinates for the next cache! While they are located in the most remote areas of the malls, stealth is still advised! The final one giving you the coordinates to the ammo can!

All this sounds easy enough, but I have rated the difficulty of this a level 4 because it is unlikely that you will be able to finish this in one trip. I will give you this much of a hint …. The clues contain somewhat of a language problem!

More about the Final Cache: The final cache is a Camoed Ammo Can, well hidden in one of our local parks! This Ammo Can was itself a prize in another cache in the Monterey area! I picked it up there, from one of the largest caches I have ever seen! In the mother cache (The Source, by the Architect – alias Touchstone), were three ammo cans and a number of Tupperware type containers all Camoed. Each was filled with good trinkets and a completed Logbook and pencil … Caches ready to go! The Source Cache also contained a whole drawer full of individual smaller items.

The final Shopping Spree cache is one of the caches described above. … PLUS …. I have added items including a scanning FM Radio for FTF. … Just to wet your appetite – I am adding my GBES, White Jeep TB “Penton”!
