One of the many mines on this tour from the “War Eagle Mountain Field Trip Historical and Mining Road Log book” prepared by Wilma Lewis Statham w/H.R. ‘Rusty’ Statham and William P. Statham You can pick up a copy of this at the Owyhee County Museum in Murphy or at the Idaho Hotel in Silver City. You can make this loop w/out the book but with the information of what you are looking at and a detailed map of the area the tour is unbeatable. This is the OSO mine and was one of the two tunnels that accessed the Poorman Mine.
