Victoria Creek Cache Traditional Cache

This cache starts in Cedar, Michigan and requires a kayak or canoe to get to it. Victoria Creek is full of wildlife and surounded by wetlands and swamp land.
You are in for an adventure! You can park and launch your boat in Cedar just north of Pleva's Meat Market. Be sure to stop in and pick up some beef jerky and sausages while in Cedar! You will see the parking area and bridge crossing County road 616.
Be sure to take your camera as mink, otter, beaver and waterfowl are common sightings! Bug repellant and sunscreen are recommended too.
The creek will take you all the way out to the south end of Lake Leelanau but the cache is hidden about half way to the lake.
You will be able to reach it from your boat with care. Be sure to put it back in the same spot so it cannot be seen by passerby!
Cache is a standard ammo box with the usual fare as well as a couple of cool DVD movies as a reward to the first two finders!
