The Broadmoor Traditional Cache
Team DAD: Finally had an opportunity to check on the cache and it has indeed been destroyed. The entire area around the cache site has been razed. It looks like the long proposed development of the property is underway, so I will not be replacing the cache at this location. Thanks to all who have searched for our cache.

Team DAD's first hidden cache !!!
Located close to the site of the old Broadmoor country club. In it's day, the Broadmoor hosted a restaurant, country club and 18 hole golf course where the elite of NW Indiana would meet. It fell into disrepair in 2002 and was finally demolished in August 2003.
Today, all that remains of the golf course are overgrown weeds and several trails used by hikers, dirtbikes and ATV's.
The cache site is accessible via the bike trail or you can park in the parking lot and walk a short distance to the cache. Some bushwhacking is required on the last 150 feet or so. The site is away from the trails, but there is a skateboarding area close by, so please be discreet if there is any activity there. Please replace the cache exactly as you found it.
The cache is in a typical Rubbermaid tupperware container and contains the usual cache trinkets and log. As this is our first hidden cache, any suggestions are appreciated.
