This is a very small cache that can contain micro type items
only. Make sure you bring your own pen or pencil. It is located on
the Matteson Trail. The Matteson Trail encirlces the Hampton's Golf
Course. Watch out for golf balls! It is a nature/fitness trail that
is 3 miles long. It is a totally paved trail that can accommodate
walking, running, rollerblades, strollers and wheelchairs! It is
open Sunrise to Sunset. The challenges will be going the distance
and avoiding muggles. It can be a busy trail but worth the walk.
The cache is located about 1.4 miles into the trail from one trail
head ( N37 03.931 W076 23.983) and about 1.6 miles in from the
other trail head (N37 03.877 W076 24.072). It will be a 3-mile
journey no matter how you do it! You can park at the Fitness Center
parking lot. Look at the picture below for a map of the
trail.
