Beautiful waterfalls located on the north side of Hayden Peak in the Owyhee Mountains.
The falls cascade down the side of Hayden Peak feeding into Thomas Lake. The cache is located along side the ATV trail that takes you to the north shore of the small lake. The falls are then a short hike (less than 100 yds) around the lake.
The best way to reach the area is by ATV. You will not be able to reach the falls in anything larger. Start at the AfterThought Mine on the east side of War Eagle Mountain. Take the northern half of the Hayden Peak Loop ATV trail. It is about a four and a half mile ride to the falls.
