A nice spot to stop over the Strzelecki Creek
A PVC pipe not far off the main road. This cache has been placed at the road crossing over the Strzelecki Creek, half way up the Strzelecki Track.
The terrain rating on this cache has been set for winter months when it hasn't been raining. Please note the fuel requirements, Lyndhurst to Innamincka is just under 500km with no services in between. If it has been wet then a 4WD will definitely be required if the road isn't closed.
Can be corrugated at times but wasn't too bad this trip and a normal car will handle it. Just check conditions first.
When we were there the desert was covered in flowers after recent rains. Also check out the pipes under the bridge, they were full of bird nests for swifts or swallows.
