Geocache Description:

Camping by the river is located at the Cabin Creek Rec area in Knoxville.

This is an 50 cal ammo box hid in the closed section of the Cabin Creek Rec Area. Go to the boat launch area which is still open and park at the stop sign. Take the paved road to the cache. Hike or bike to the spot.

When this area was open, this was the prime spot to camp because it was out of the way and right near the river. You might even want to take a break and fish down there. I took several readings and my GPSr was never really right on the day I hid the cache. Look at the clue if you can't find it. You dont have to venture but a few feet in the woods to find it.

I got lots of begger lice (stickers) on my socks near this cache, so dress accordingly.
There is a White jeep waiting for the first to find!
