Geocache Description:

NOTICE!! Please read the entire thing. This cache is not at the coordinates above. This is a small cache measuring 6 x 9 and a plastic container. It is in flat open country. This cache should be easy for even the novice cacher. Warning: Beware of animal holes and plant stickers.

About the cache...This small field surrounded by farm land is almost always quiet except the Kansas wind blowing and sometimes a tractor tilling or harvesting the land nearby. Then, the other times, it takes on the image of a minature Cape Kennedy with roar of rockets blasting out of sight and of excited rocketeers chatting about rockets and engines and parachutes, and such.

This is the launch site of the Kloudbusters, an amateur rocket club, who come out ever so often to blast their rockets up high into sky. Some of the rockets are kits and some are homemade, but they all do the same thing - blast off with a roar and hopefully parachute down safely or crash - either way it is spectacular no matter what. See their launch schedule at www.kloudbusters.org

If you are lucky, you can catch them out there doing what they like to do.

NOTE:
The coordinates above get you to a parking area near some cedar trees. The cache is actually located at N 37 deg 09.757 W 097 deg 44.375 . Please make note of this or you will be a half mile off.

The cache is camoflaged but easy to find. Inside is a log book, pencil, and several items freshly restock 9/2/07. If you trade items be sure it is real small and please sign the log in the logbook and on the internet.

It may not be available during launches due to the location.
Have fun and hope you catch a launch or two.
