TJØDNEMYRA Lett å finne, men en hard stigning i begynnelsen. Bred sti. Easy to find, but a hard climb in the beginning on a broad path thou.

Cachen er en liten geocachebeholder .

Tjødnemyra er ei myr som ligger til venstre for gamleveien fra Veisdal til de fraflyttede Langelandsgårdene når en har kommet opp de bratte bakkene.
Ved enden av myra lå det tidligere et hvitt våningshus som ble fraflyttet rundt 1950. Tjødnemyra på Hidra er som de andre myrene på Hidra ganske næringsfattig, men om sommeren ligger vakre vannliljer og nøkkeroser og lokker ute i tjernet. Vær forsiktig! Tjødnemyra regnes som farlig av folk som har greie på det. Poster ligger trygt på fast grunn. Cachen kan lett kombineres med Hidra #2 Langelandsfjellet og for de mer ærgjerrige Hidra # 6 Langelandsstrand

Tjødnemyra is a bog/marsh at the left hand side of the old road that is connecting Veisdal and the abandoned farms at Langeland. A steep up-hill climb. In former time a white painted farmhouse was situated at the waterfront. The farm was abandoned around 1950. Tjødnemyra is oligotrophic as the other bogs on Hidra, but in the summertime lovely water lilies and yellow pondlilies are growing temptingly close to the shore . Be careful out there. People that are well-aquainted with this area regard the bog as dangerous. The cache is situated safely on solid ground. The cache can be nicely combined with Hidra #2 Langelandsfjellet and for the more ambitious cacher - Hidra #6 Langelandsstrand
 
 
Hidra the most beautiful island on the southcoast of Norway.
Hidra - Sørlandets perle.
Hidra is situated in Flekkefjord municipality. A ferry boat is connecting the island to the mainland.The trip takes only 5-6 minutes. Approximately 600 people live on the island. In the summertime, however, the population increases greatly.
