*gln: ### ARCHIVING CACHE ###

Since you haven't repaired your cache I can only assume that your priorities have changed and you’ve gone in a different direction.

While I feel that we should hold the location for you we can't do so forever.
If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the VERY near future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Let me know if I can be of assistance in the future.

Thanks,

Geocache Description:

"ODE TO OUR BUD"

This cache is a very short multi-cache. The final part is a pill bottle with log enclosed. Please bring your own writing utensil. Parking is extremely close as well as the distance between the two parts of the cache. Blue Springs Parks has been notified.

This MICRO multi is a tribute to a true fixture in Blue Springs sports lore.

George “Bud” Halsey was a girl’s softball coach for over 20 years in Blue Springs , Missouri . His dedication to the sport took the form of coach, motivator, concessionaire, league founder, and friend to hundreds of players and colleagues.

Bud also maintained the fields in this park. Despite having a stroke in 1994, Bud continued his involvement in The Blue Springs Girls Softball Association until the end.

We lost Bud on July 3, 2001 , but his memory lives on.

The coordinates listed will take you to a “tribute” for Bud. The number of words in his dedication plaque as well as the name of the park will help you to decipher the final MICRO cache coordinates. PLEASE, PLEASE replace the cache EXACTLY the way you found it (at an angle)!!! THANKS!!!
