“INDIANA SPIRIT QUEST”
The Indiana Spirit Quest series of
geocaches will take you to a number of historic cemeteries
built by Hoosier Pioneers. In just a year and a half, the quest has
grown to over two hundred seventy caches hidden in twenty-seven
Indiana counties, and two Ohio counties, and the hiders have grown
to ten cacher teams, nine of which of which are comprised of
Dogs and their Humans. Over 570 cacher
teams have logged over 6,400 finds. One cache machine found 102 ISQ
caches in a single day (daylight hours only).

”Brethren's Maize"
Welcome to Ginder Cemetery (aka Sawdust),
Wilmington Township, DeKalb County.
Listen to what the Mysterious Shadow has
to say:
This small, but growing cemetery is at the
Mount Pleasant Church, sometimes referred to by the church’s
name.
The church itself in an impressive building.
It appears to be nicely kept. There is a large bell on display on
the west side, presumably from an original structure at this
location.
There is a newer white vinyl fence bordering
the north side. A new addition has been added for expansion
eastward.
You may see an unusual sight here, in season:
Corn planted in the cemetery. This has been done for the past ten
years. Look to the southeast corner of the cemetery.
There are several veterans here from the
different wars. Many have the flag holders, but no verifying
inscriptions.
WHY IS THIS CORN HERE?
FIND
LOGS ON THIS CACHE THAT INDICATE NIGHT CACHING WILL BE DELETED
