Geocache Description:

A quick little cache in a nice little park.

This is my first cache, in a place we used to take our kids to every time we went to the hills. The place is somewhat overgrown now, but that has no bearing on the cache. Also has a nice spring that you can dangle your feet in.

Thanks to legal1 for volunteering to maintain this cache for me since I do live in Washington State.

The container was picked up from "The Pigtail Bridge's" cache (GCC330) during my vacation in the hills.

6/18/08 Update
While visiting the hills, I was watching the NBC station from Rapid City last night and they had a special report on this spring. It is the largest spring in the Black Hills, with a constant 68 degree waterflow. It is chock full of minerals (I did not take notes, but one of them was flouride). At the turn of the 20th century (that is late 1800's to early 1900's) a commericial venture tried to create a bathhouse, however the railroad decided not to go that way. Therefore, no bathhouse.

Just something you should know...

Enjoy!
