This cemetery was established in December 1871 by the 1st
African Baptist Church, which was later renamed "Queen Ann Baptist
Church". The cemetery was refurbished in 1992 by the citizens of
Trenton, Todd County, Kentucky and was dedicated in loving memory
of former slaves and their descendants.
This cemetery is 134 years old. There are LOTS of graves that
are unmarked, so please DO NOT TURN YOUR CAR AROUND IN THE GRASS.
Once you get in the driveway, you will have to back all the way
out.
When you first look around, the cemetery appears to be divided
into 2 sections - one near the entrance at the road, and one way
back over the hill. The gap in between is not empty - this is where
the unmarked graves are. Please be respectful.
