Old Stumpy Traditional Cache

Located on the beautiful trail system that loops around Fernie. This cache can be done on its own, but we would recommend connecting it to the "Elk River Stroll" cache for a nice loop walk or easy family bike ride.
The trailhead for Old Stumpy begins at N 49d 30.462 W 115d 03.052, although you can begin anywhere on the trail system. Follow your GPS. To connect to Elk River Stroll, continue past the cache site and follow the Elk River Trail leading to Annex Park. Complete the loop by following the Dogwood trail and through historic downtown Fernie.
Cache is in a rubbermaid container. Original contents include: first-to-find quilted bookmark, juggling balls, lexan camping spoon, Fernie pin, mini stapler, Halo 2 figure, light pen, whistle, coin purse, log book and pencils. Please do not add any food or scented items.
