This quiet corner of the Utah State University campus once
boasted an unparalleled view across the valley, a perfect backdrop
for outdoor performances on the Hill. Today it may show its age and
trees may block the view, but this old amphitheater, built during
the Depression under the "New Deal", is still used occasionally for
student projects or wedding photos. If you happen upon an event
during your hunt for this cache, please have a seat and enjoy the
show, or come back another day. It will be difficult to retrieve
this cache without being seen by the audience.
Cache is an ammo box, whose original contents were a lot of cool
USU stuff. I'll refresh it with more cool USU stuff every once in a
while.
The nearest free parking is on 700 East. There is limited
parking nearby on campus. During Spring and Fall semester all of
these spots fill up fast, so plan ahead. Campus parking is open on
weekends.
The cache area is surprisingly secluded, but since it is near a
heavily used pedestrian walkway on a university campus, it is still
vulnerable to being muggled. Please use stealth and keep this cache
alive!
