IN THE ANAGA AREA AT 631 mts, A BEAUTIFULL PROMENADE EASY TO WALK
To go to the cache area you must take the Anaga Road. If you don’t know the area you may want to stop at the Visitor’s Centre placed at the location called CRUZ DEL CARMEN. There they can provide you with an area map and a brief guide of the Rural Park.
Drive to the junction at N28º 32.318’ W016º 16,094’ and leave there the main road. In short you will see a very characteristic peak called ROQUE DE TABORNO. Keep on driving to a parking area in N28º 33.712’ W016º 17.453’.
OK you are at CHINAMADA, and at this point start several interesting paths, including a hike to PUNTA DEL HIDALGO. For our quest, the path starts at N28º 33.713’ W016º 17.484’603 mts (hands level). At you left hand side you can see another interesting rock called ROQUE DE LOS PINOS. Follow the path. At the end of it (N28º 33.893’ W016º 17.687’613m) you will find very interesting views.
It will take less than 10 minutes from the stating point to the end with no real difficulties to walk it along.
Terrain is rated level 3 just for the last 40 meters to the top.
At the coordinates for the cache, you will find a clear reference to place yourself and look towards the mentioned view point (look North). The cache is placed around 30 mts downhill in a suitable spot (not in the dangerous or difficult side). Cache is a clear plastic container 16,5 cm x 11,5 cm x 5,5 cm.

- FEDAS pin.
- FEDAS Sticker.
- Chronograph (without batteries).
- 1 x 5 pesetas coin (Spanish old coin).
- Drago plant seeds.
- Rubber yellow tropical fish.
- Lock and key.
- Micro-cassette tape (this time without messages or clues).
Back at the parking area you will find coffee and restaurant services. It’s my first cache so hope you enjoy it. Comments are very welcome!
