thehobbler: I am sorry to report that Buck saw a young doe and took off to maybe form a new cache?

Geocache Description:

Another joint effort that should be another fun one.

A few spring ago my grandson (Kid Dakota) and I were driving to some caches in the Hayden area and came across a rather flat mother deer on the road. We stopped and looked around and saw its baby in the edge of the woods looking at us with those big old teary eyes. Sort of pulled at our heart-strings. I made a few phone calls and found a friend in the area that said they would take care of him. It has been a couple of years now and the baby is now full grown and has a good rack on him. He is very tame and will allow you to pet him, but he does not like for you to mess with his rump. Do not feed him as he is well taken care of. We flagged him so hunters will know he is a pet and hopefully will survive many hunting seasons. We named him Buck for my best friend I have known for 30 years.

He stays pretty much on private property and the owner has given permission for anyone who wants to see Buck to enter. Park heading south on the curve and there is enough room to get your car off the road. Do not park in driveway.
