CAUTION SOME OF THE ORIGINAL TRAIL IS DISAPPEARING IN THE RIVER. BE CAREFUL WITH CHILDREN!!! This cache is located a couple of minutes drive from either of the Battlefords and once you have figured out where to park your car you'll only have to walk 10 mins along well established track and then walk off the track about 40 yards or so following a deer trail. The cache is a 10 litre bucket wrapped in a black plastic rubbish bag. The track in is a good one and is suitable for kids but a few pricklies are near the cache itself - but not enough to leave the kids behind. Might also be worth taking a little deet in those months where the Native Canadian Mosquito is at it's prime. Should be a year round cache give or take on a few inches of snow in the winter. Trade items must be of equal or greater value - not junk or Happy Meal Toys. This is in consideration for others who wish to trade and in fairness to those who have placed items of value. If this can't be done then Don't Trade! Be sure to sign the log book and only do this cache if you intend on logging your visit online also - other may be interested and it adds to the game.
